Calculator inputs and comparisons

Numbers entered into calculators are processed in your browser. They are not sent to PlainProfit, placed in page URLs or included in analytics events. A pinned comparison is kept only in page memory and disappears when you reload or leave the page. Printing uses your browser's print function.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts this website. Delivering and protecting it involves processing technical request information, which can include your IP address, requested URL, browser details and security signals. This is distinct from the numbers you enter into a calculator. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Website analytics

PlainProfit uses free Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page visits and performance. The analytics beacon measures information such as page paths, referring websites, device/browser categories and loading performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for analytics and does not fingerprint individual visitors. It is not an account system and we do not send calculator inputs to it. See Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

You may block the Cloudflare analytics script in your browser. Calculators still work without analytics. Browser extensions and blocked requests can mean that visit counts are incomplete.

Cookies, advertising and accounts

PlainProfit does not currently run Google AdSense, personalised advertisements, account registration or a mailing list. The site code does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare may use security mechanisms as part of hosting. If advertising is added, this policy will be updated before activation to identify advertising providers, their data use, and the consent or opt-out choices available to visitors.

External links and local files

External websites have their own privacy practices. Any print or PDF output you choose to save is managed by your browser and device.
